I have installed and ran TH image optimizer using pngquant, jpegoptim and gifsicle. (gifsicle didnt work). I have done this completely by running it for 48+ hours but in my file manager storage did not free'd up, it is same as before.

Cumminatoryou should be able to check the progress of it in your logs. if its not working you can run it manually in the rebuild caches section.

I want to know the configuration bro. Cuz I have install jpegoptim, pngquant and gifsicle from apt-get install in ubuntu 20.04 without any error. Do I need to do something extra with TL image addon? I mean setting the path, I didn't had to in the TH addon.

I saw that too ,. TH is getting rid of xenforo... I wonder why, their message was not so clear. They could have expand and do other projects alongside xenforo..

and permitsion of gifsicle, pngquant, and jpegoptim to user

put 500-1000 images in the option bcs u might have a ton of images
