I am currently running a vB 6.X forum with "Topics: 1,866,835 Posts: 25,149,918 Members: 357,116 Active Members: 4,568". At it's highest prior to these issues our traffic was at 1-1.5TB a month, back when traffic was measured that way.
Our active member count is down to between a third and a quarter of what it was due to a database issue crashing the site regularly. Part of the crashing is an issue with the vB software, even vB support has said I need to update to fix it.
