Anyone have any issues doing a fresh install with this 2.2.1 version? Mine successfully gets to the installation page, when I click "Begin Installation", it simply redirects to "/install/index.php?install/step/1" and doesn't do anything.

I haven't encountered the same situation as you, I have it installed on the demo site, everything works fine

Yup it was on my end. Had enabled an option in my php.ini for another web application that I forgot was there. Setting this option back to its default setting fixed the issue. Thanks for the release!
