Limit Resource Downloads v1.1.4 Released 📢​

In this update, we've made further enhancements related to "External Download URL" type resources and expanded support for certain limits while making overall improvements.

📜 Changelog:​

  • Resources with the "External Download URL" type now support:
    • Download limit
    • Countdown timer
    • Positive reaction limit (v1.1.3)
    • Message count limit (v1.1.3)
  • Auto-watch resources when downloading using the countdown timer.
  • User group permissions related to moderators are now separated.
  • Several important fixes and stability improvements.
We recommend that everyone running a previous version of 1.1.x upgrades to this version, as it also includes several important fixes and stability improvements.

Limit Resource Downloads v1.1.3 Has Released 📢​

In this update, we've fixed an error related to "External Download URL" resources and expanded support for certain restrictions while clearly outlining limitations.

📜 Changelog:​

  • Resolved an [E_WARNING] Attempt to read property "Container" on null error, reported by @mrdoitnyce.
  • Allowing users to download resources with "External Download URL" without issues.
    Notes:
    • Resources with "External Download URL" now support:
      • Positive reaction limit.
      • Message count limit.
    • Resources with "External Download URL" do not support:
      • Download limit. (support added in v1.1.4)
      • Countdown timer. (support added in v1.1.4)
In this update, we removed an emoji (👍) from a couple of phrases. This emoji caused an error (reported by @olgert zerbaska) during add-on installation if your config.php was missing the line $config['fullUnicode'] = true;. Here's what's changed:

    • xcu_lrdl_reaction_limit_not_applied
If you've already installed the add-on, there's no need to upgrade to this version. It's a minor adjustment. 👍
