xF2 Add-on [XenConcept] Advanced Forum Rules 2.0.6 Patch 3

LQD submitted a new resource:

[XenConcept] Advanced Forum Rules - Nobody can read the forum content without their confirmations to read the forum rules.

This is a special add-on and specially fitted with some specific groups. When users click on any links in the site, they must confirm they have read the forum rules firstly.

Users could load and observe the threads/forums/posts if they have accepted that they have read the forum rules. This will be effective for some content of age limit or post with sensitive content.

- Rules shown on separate page.
- Rules can be created on admin option.
- Options to force users to accept forum...

Hello I receive this message when accessing the url to set the rules url.com/admin.php?forum/rules/

It is cause you are trying to access it within admin.php, aka, the ACP.

Try and use this URL instead: url.com/forum/rules/

poptasticoThis will only work if rules has been configured created.
If a user now accept the rule it will be added into the `xc_advanced_forum_rules_dismissed` table, if you now go to the ACP and reset the rule, this table will be truncated and the user need to accept the rules again.

So everything is working as expected.
