RSS Feed/News Way to filter out user names on registration requests?

There is a very persistent and obnoxious bot that attempts to register on my site with some variant of "Soons" in their user name (JerekioxSoons), but always with a different and unrelated email address.

It would be nice to be able to ban emails based upon strings in the user name field.
