RSS Feed/News Unable to save a post with an emoji

I have been having an issue that popped up several days ago. I am unable to save a post with an inserted emoji. I get the "Oops! We ran into some problems" message. I have tried turning off all extensions (it happens in both Edge and Chrome). I have also tried an Incognito window in both browsers with the same result. If I insert the emoji, toggle BBCode and then save the post, it works fine.
