RSS Feed/News protected attachments and images links 🥸

When setting up the forum, image protection from external use on other sites was enabled (as I understand it, in this case, the direct link to the image is replaced with an PHP-redirect ) and now we can't get it back because the option disappeared 🥸

Please tell me how to do this. We need to be able to use attachments as direct links to images. I think the option was something like this: "store attachments as protected"...
