RSS Feed/News Joined Date format

I've configured my forum to use a Custom Date Format for the Threads and Replies of (D) d-M-Y @ H:i:s. This works really well for the archiving I want, but it has a side effect of altering the Member Joined Date, as I don't want the time displayed. How can I override this setting to use just the date: (d-M-Y)
