The sitemap will be generated in the internal_data folder, possibly you changed these permissions.

The sitemap will be build automatically if enabled under sitemap options, the time scales can be found in the cronjob entry

In Linux, these should be "chmod 0777". You can generally do this via your FTP client by making sure that the directory has read, write, and execute permissions for user, group and world. In Windows/IIS, you need to grant the "Full Control" permission to the IUSR_ account.

MrBerkHDeverytime the cronjob will be executed it will create a new sitemap, if that has been created it will be packed and the old one at the end deleted.

Need to check the code, if it will delete the last one all the time, even if the new one was not created.
