Forum and admin say a update is running​

It has been slow for days, partly because bots were performing Zlib flushing.

But after resolving that problem, the forum remained slow.

So eventually I decided to restore a server backup, and lo and behold, the forum turned out to be faster as a result.

But suddenly the forum was gone with the message that an update is running. I get the same message in Admin as well, and because of that, I can't click on anything anymore!
