check ip when a user registers

Hello colleagues. I know there is a plugin to check the ip of a user when he registers. My question is: is there one that works on localhost? without having to link said plugin to any external party?

I'm not sure to understand your question. If is in localhost, I suppose is in DEV enviroment, with local users, so same "IP".
But maybe I didn't understand your question...

it is mounted on a pc where we access it from different places. It is not mounted on a professional host, we only access the forum through network cables. all internal. the ip ranges are different.
