Widget Help!

Hello there, I've recently started to use Widgets since my main coder is gone! So now I need to learn how to use Widgets. The manual doesn't help. So whenever I try adding for example the shoutbox, it doesn't show up on my mainpage. Any ideas?

When you add a widget , than look into the Display in positions part. And select the followings as per requirement

• Forum list: Above nodes
• Forum list: Below nodes
• Forum list: Sidebar

Check ALL user group permissions and also the addon to make sure it is actually enabled.
