Currently we are on 2.2.16 and I want to bring it up to 2.2.17
It will take me 2 minutes to dump the database on the server. If I download it off of the server another 20 minutes for that. If I backup all of the files which I do once a week it takes about 16 hours. That is 16 hours even with only downloading the files that are new or have changed.
For the purposes of running this upgrade do I need to have a complete backup or are there select files I could backup and be safe?
