On some of the forums I do sysadmin for; there has been a number of users who have had their accounts compromised due to password reuse, and one of the changes the spammers do is disable most email notification options to prevent the original account holder from being notified.
It would be much better if there was some way to batch use the user changelog to rollback options which can be easily reverted (ie email notifications, etc).
