RSS Feed/News Restricting forum view based on AGE...?! How-to do?...

So - I'm looking for an add-on similar to an age-gate of sorts, which prevents users under the age of 18 from viewing a forum. The add-on at https://xenforo.com/community/threads/j-min-post-age-like-forum-restriction-paid.141306/ Seems not to be compatible with XF 2.1.2

Any idea of an age-gate type of add-on that is compatible XF 2.1?
Or any suggestion on how to accomplish this using out-of-box XF permissions/options?
