RSS Feed/News Red notification dot for queue/reports and global mods

Our forum moderators mod specific nodes, however they also have global mod powers to help with spam that may occur outside the nodes they moderate. However this global mod permission makes it so they get the red notification dot for all items in the approval queue & submitted reports.

Is there any way to make this red dot only show up for queue items and reports in the sections they moderate directly, instead of forum-wide?
