RSS Feed/News Logging Max Connections and IP Address

Now and then we get a flurry of error logs because a user, almost always a guest user, has exceeded the forum's "max connections" limit. At first I thought this was a MySQL error, but over time I realised that it often occurred during light usage periods (not an issue with SQL) and was typically caused by malicious bot spammers.
