I've been doing research on this and it seems there are no good ways to cache the attachment images. I've seen some add-ons in the past discussions but they were buggy and now also unmaintained.
Is using a force rule on Cloudflare still the only way, which also has it's own downsides?
If attachments are viewable by guests, I see no reason why we shouldn't be able to cache them.
This add on seems to work but is unmaintained...
