RSS Feed/News Improve "Location" control

Can you please add the ability to either disable/remove/hide the location field or enhance the control to be able to validate a failing mailing address if required? For scenarios where a valid mailing address is required, the field becomes redundant and becomes confusing for an end user. I understand this is used to publicly show where an individual is from, but when I have the mailing address as a few separate custom fields, it could easily be removed and pointed remapped to use the...
