RSS Feed/News Image embed not working from some URLs with proxy ticked (but shows in edit mode)

If I have image proxy ticked, then images from do not show from specific URLs. For example (from imgur). This (obviously) shows fine here, but on all of my forums it only shows in edit mode. So I wonder if there is some other setting somewhere.
