How to add Insert button in attached file on New Thread?

Dear Everyone,
I've a question, please help me.

When I use IPS source forum, on New Thread, when attached file, not images, it have a button to insert that file to post, like this


But on Xenforo, only Images has the button, another files have not that button


My friend, how to make that button? please help me

Well, there's a short answer for your question, and an alternative.

The short answer is, you can't.

As Xenforo Developer Chris D also said about this, only Image can be embedded on the posts, and Xenforo always worked this way.

But instead, you can always upload the files elsewhere and link it there. Or I can suggest you one thing, you should post attaching it, get the attachment link, and then edit the post, and add it there. URL will get auto embedded.
