RSS Feed/News How Can I Modify the "Replies/Views" and "Last Post Timer"

I am planning to customize the code within the "Replies/Views" area, and I also plan to change the "Last Post Timer" section so it has a countdown like look (ie "Five Days ago". Is this a specific template? or is it built into the Admin area in another section?
