RSS Feed/News Google Search Console Discovered - Currently not indexed & Media Gallery

It looks like most of the media gallery links end up in the Discovered - Currently not indexed category in the Google search console. How is everyone handling this? Blocking it with robots.txt? Just living with it? On the big sites, I'm assuming this can drain a bit of the crawl budget. I'm wondering how everyone else handles this?
