RSS Feed/News Featured Content - Contextual Content and Hide Content do not work

Hi,

I have a widget for featured content, Contextual Content and Hide widget is enabled.
But in forums, the latest featured content is shown, even from other forums.
In my understanding only featured content from a forum should be shown, when I am in this forum and when I use the checkboxes mentioned above.

Example: when I have the forums "cars", "trains" and "ships", I would like to see the latest featured content from all forums on the main page.
