Imagine that I want the four pinned topics from forum 9 to appear in the sub-navigation under a main tab.
If I need this for myself, I could go into navigation.xml and set it up manually.
But I want to do this in an add-on. And another admin doesn't want to mess around in the XML files.
How can I achieve this without running queries on every page load, which might be possible in onNavigationSetup?
Could I have my script rewrite the navigation.xml during a rebuild?
