can't start installation

Hi, I had everything up and running but decided to update XAMPP and reinstall my whole forum from scratch. I downloaded the Xenforo 2.2.8 Patch 1 zip file and extracted it to the root of my forum's folder, but I can't start the installation at all.

Which XAMPP version you are using?
Which version of PHP is included...

The version of PHP that is included in the new version of XAMPP has an issue, Xenforo simply will not run on it.
Xenforo started working as soon as I replaced the php folder with the previous one I was using, funny enough, they are both 8.1.4.
I have switched to WAMP and everything is running fine.

ddddThen there might be something wrong with the XAMPP installation, was it a real installation or just unpack the archive?
If you just unpack, you need to run the configuration batch.

Are you using a local server or a hosting???

uninstall XAMPP completely then reinstall it
