ShieldXSingle Sign On is the feature I believe they are talking about. I'm fairly sure SSO will be built into 2.3.

ShieldXSingle sign on or SSO is a feature where one login password will work accross all website under a same brand. I believe to do that all these website will use one database for storing user info and then use it to fetch/store info from multiple sites.

Isnt there already connected accounts feature, you just add eg. MS intergration and use that to login.
