RSS Feed/News Are the dropdown search results supposed to differ greatly from the [Search] button results ?

The left sided results are from typing in the search area. I wanted to find the Snog form addon, so I went to the Resources Tab and selected to search in the Resources section.

Since the results were not helpful.

I clicked on the search button.

why would the results differ so much ?
