I have a question that I saw before, but I can't remember if it was a template modification or an addon. Some members on my forum site always include a hotlink to images or attachments when they post. Is there an addon or template modification to remove the URL from where the image or photo was taken?

UNKNOWN PHyou mean the image is not transfered to your site and it is still only reachable over the link?

There is an addon, can't remember the name currently, which convert these images to be uploaded to your site.
If you just want to remove links or prevent specific sites there is an addon as well, need to check/find the names
