xF2 Add-on sonnb XenGallery 2.x to XenForo Media Gallery 2.1.x 1.0.1

his importer was created in order to support people who wish to migrate to XenForo 2.x but who currently may not be able to because their preferred gallery add-on hasn't yet been updated.

As ever, we recommend testing any import fully before doing it on a live site.

Once you have updated to XenForo 2.1.1 and XenForo Media Gallery 2.1.1 install this add-on as you would any other.

Then go to Tools > Import data and select sonnb XenGallery 2.x (Beta) from the list.

On the config page, you need to enter the login details for the database where the sonnb_xengallery_ tables are located, even if that is the same database as your XF installation. You also need to provide a path to the data directory where all of the sonnb XenGallery files are contained. Again, even if it is the same as your current XF installation.

This importer assumes that the user IDs in the sonnb XenGallery tables are the same as your existing XF installation.

Once again, please take a backup, please do some testing and please be prepared for bugs as it was only possible to do limited testing.
